Q&A

Word of advice:

If possible, don't wait until your pets are near the end to schedule a session.  Catch them while they're still feeling themselves.  This gives more options on location and lessens the emotional burden as much as possible for the pet parents.

Do you travel for sessions?

Yes.  I will travel within 30 minutes of Cape Girardeau, MO for no extra charge.  A charge $0.625/mile is added for any travel outside of 30 minutes.

Do you do wedding photography?

I do not do wedding or engagement sessions at this time.

Do you have an assistant?

At times, I will bring a second helper if needed.  A helper is generally there to assist in getting the pets attention (aka toy squeaker).

What is your experience level with all types of pets?

I have worked with a variety of animals throughout my life, including dogs, cats, birds, horses, and farm animals.  I have experience in a veterinary clinic and animal shelter.  I understand there are many behavior types and personalities and will make adjustments to the session as needed to accommodate.  I like to keep things moving and capture the candid moments between you and your pets.

What should I bring to the session?

I will bring squeaky toys and treats, however, if there is a specific toy or treat that your pet likes, please bring that as well.  All pets should be leashed during the session unless we are in a fenced area.

What type of prints do you provide?

I provide high resolution digitally edited images that are uploaded to a digital gallery.  You are welcome to order prints from any online retailer or local source.

What is your availability?

Given the nature of the services I offer, I will certainly try to be as flexible as possible with memory sessions.  However, I do work a full-time job as well, so there are times when I may not be able to accommodate the exact time/date requested.  Regular pet photography and mini sessions will need to be booked 2-3 weeks out.
